Rebecca L. Gross

Rebecca L. Gross (she/they) is a writer, researcher, educator, and zine-maker. She's interested in contemporary diasporic literatures that address intergenerational memory, trauma, and cultural myths. Rebecca hopes to research how these literatures mobilize solidarity movements and social change. Before coming to UCSC, Rebecca received her B.A. in English from the University of Washington, and an M.A. in English Literature with an emphasis on Jewish Studies from Loyola Marymount University. Outside of academia, Rebecca runs Off Menu Press & spends time working in DIY publishing. She also drums in a punk band called Lady Starshine.

grace novacek (she/they) is a writer and illustrator from Illinois. she currently serves as the Art Director for Off Menu Press. Their work has been published in Human Condition Magazine, Variant Lit, and Moonchild Mag.

anaïs peterson

anaïs peterson (name/they) is the digital content coordinator for afm. an organizer, mixed blessing, and lover of the sky anaïs writes a mix of lyric essays and prose poems around the topic of freedom in its many forms and often returning to dwell on sunflowers. anaïs' words have appeared in sampsonia way magazine (poem of the week series), off menu press, collision lit magazine, the pitt news, fully lit magazine, mixed mag, sage cigarettes, and has upcoming in dreams walking. anaïs is also a poetry reader for non.plus lit.

alyce thornhill

alyce thornhill (they/she) is a poet, educator and lover of radio residing on the unceded territory of the Awasawas people. they currently study literature and critical race theory at the university of california, santa cruz, where they can be found watching otters on west cliff or in the air room at kzsc. they hope to make art that moves, liberates and revolutionizes.

Apurva Sengouttouvane

Apurva Sengouttouvane (she/her) is a student, dancer, and writer. She is currently an operations intern for Off Menu Press and is working toward a bachelor’s degree at UC Santa Cruz. She believes in labor through love and the inextricable link between empathy and knowledge as the tools for consciousness. In her free time, Sengouttouvane sits with her loved ones, listens to her beloved BTS, and documents moments as she encounters them in this chapter of her life.

Monica Niehaus (she/her) is a product designer currently living in San Francisco. She is the designer for Off Menu Press. Niehaus currently spends most of her days working in the tech industry and building inclusive customer experiences.
